1969 |
Fan Xueyi was born in the Heilongjiang province of China, in a place called " Season Pier ". |
| There were five brothers and sisters, and their life of poverty was not easy. | |
| She was sent to school at eleven years. | |

1997 |
She decided to leave her remote hometown for Beijing where currently she resides |
| and works as a poet and painter. | |
|
2001 |
She published a book of poetry entitled " Childhood River " |
|
2003 |
She wrote lyrics of songs for the television programs : |
| " Local Police ", " Never Surrendered Sunflower ", " Family Affairs ", and so one. | |
|
2004 |
She composed the lyrics of music album " Singing in the wind". |
|
2005 |
She composed the lyrics for the television " Dreams from Qinghe ". |
|
2006 |
She composed the lyrics for the theme song of the movie " banquet ", directed by Feng Xiaogang, entitled " Reward Your Love " . |

2007 |
She published a collection of poetry entitled " Letters from a Secret Garden , illustrated |

by Wei Erqiao. |
